Rare and unmistakable delicacy produced in Piedmont, halfway between a sauce and a jam with an intense and perfumed taste.
Grape must 50%, apples, pears, Langhe Nebbiolo wine DOC 10%, hazelnuts, nuts. It contains sulphites.
The cognà is excellent with boiled meats, including the typical Piedmontese boiled meat, polenta and table cheeses such as goat cheese, alpine cheese, Roccaverano cheese etc. Marvellous with vanilla ice cream.
Store in a cool dry place. After opening keep refrigerated and use within few days.
