Since the beginning Gianluca Franzoni took care to personally select the raw materials and to constantly innovate the Domori’s products. In 1993, after his studies in Business Economics, he landed in Venezuela where he will spend three years to experiment and field test the varietals and post-harvesting processes in order to preserve the biodiversity and fight the extinction of the finest rarest cocoa in the world: the Criollo, that will soon become his travel companion. In 1997 Domori was founded, becoming a mean to express Gianluca creative mind and passion for the cocoa and the gastronomy. Domori was the first company to identify the peculiar characteristics of an excellent chocolate, allowing all cocoa admirers to taste and recognize this fine cacao. Aroma, roundness, purity and persistency are the foundations but also the benchmarks that helped the rediscovery and recovery of the world best cocoa plantations.
