Farina Viva was created by some friends, each of them qualified in agricultural and food industry.
The history of Farina Viva starts in the field in the area between Turin and Cuneo, thanks to some friends that love their territory. Their flour is made through lava millstone grinding, extracted from the Etna querries.
Farina Viva is more than a mere name, is a mark of quality. It worked in collaboration with the Agriculture Faculty of the University of Turin on the drawing up of the disciplinary about the cultivation of cereals. That disciplinary is based on the principles of integrated agriculture: rules for the respect of a sustainable an not intensive cultivation.
