Description Lemon honey is produced only in a restricted area of eastern Sicily, as it is rather difficult to find lemon plantations with enough degrees to allow the production of pure lemon honey. This honey is very similar to that of orange from which it differs for a more acidulous note and a more pungent flavor.
- Excellent as a sweetener in herbal teas and cold cocktails. On the table it goes well with both fresh cheeses such as ricotta and mascarpone, and aged cheeses such as caciocavallo and ragusano.
