The natural yellow Pomodorino Lucariello is a natural graft between the tomato varieties of the Agro-Sarnese Nocerino and the tomato variety of the piennolo del Vesuvio.
It is grown in the Agro-Sarnese Nocerino area. Yellow like the sun, it has a thick skin and a particularly firm pulp.
Also called "traditional food product" by the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies; the Ministry, together with the Regions, have activated the tools necessary to safeguard these products as an expression of the traditions and culture of the Neapolitan land.
