Description
Rubatà breadsticks, thanks to their processing which involves the rolling of the dough, have a more compact consistency. The term “Rubatà" comes from the Piedmontese dialect, which means "fallen". It is the oldest shape of a breadstick and legend has it that it was baked for the first time at the court of Savoy in 1679 for Vittorio Amedeo II, upon the instructions of his doctor as Vittorio was apparently unable digest the soft part of bread.
Ingredients
Soft wheat flour type 00, 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, 5%, yeast, salt, barley malt. May contain traces of milk, sesame, tree nuts and soya.
