Description

On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, the Ferraris Agricultural Company presented a limited edition celebratory box set, containing four vintages (2017-2018-2019-2020) and the book "60 years of Ruchè", dedicated to Don Cauda and the vine in general. Four vintages with an alternation between the cooler ones (2020 and 2018) and the hotter and drier ones, all with different characteristics: 

  • 2020 characterized by a bouquet of intense floral notes, crunchy fruit and a light minty note on the finish. 
  • 2019 brings a light spicy and undergrowth note to the glass. 
  • 2018 has floral notes of dog rose, persistent and fine tannins. 
  • 2017 is characterized by a young, slightly pungent tannin.

Shop Piemonte has selected the Ruchè Vigna del Parroco because thanks to the work of the Luca Ferraris Winery is the flag of Ruchè in the world and the flagship wine of the company. The name comes from a small vineyard near the Church of Castagnole Monferrato, planted in 1964 by Don Giacomo Cauda in 1964, considered the father of Ruchè. Even today, the grapes used for this wine come from the first vineyard planted, as well as the oldest existing vineyard at the time.Fine and persistent, it is distinguished by its ruby red colour with light violet reflections that, with ageing, turn into bright orange. You will be impressed by the floral aromas of violet and rose hips, in the mouth is appreciated for its notes of ripe plum, blackberries, raspberries and black pepper.
