The word "daivej" derives from the expression in Piedmontese dialect "dai vej", which translated into Italian means "from the old", which identified the farmhouse of origin of the Deltetto family.

In memory of this, the family decided to produce Roero Arneis "Daj Vej" D.O.C.G.
