Description
Herbs have traditionally always been used to prepare detox, digestion-aiding and regenerating after-meal liqueurs. The drinks obtained have always been characterised by a distinctive bitter taste, due to the use of herbs and spices. Distilleria Mazzetti d’Altavilla has re-interpreted an ancient recipe of the Benedictine Monastery, situated in ancient times at the top of Altavilla Monferrato: Amaro Forte was created as a concentrate of herbs in the hortus simplicium, the monks’ old garden of simple remedies, a place where plants and aromatic and healing herbs were grown. In Amaro Forte Mazzetti you distinctly perceive nuances of liquorice, dandelion, chincona bark and peppermint.

This liqueur is really excellent and delicate, suitable as a digestive. Enjoy it frozen and discover its aromas and perfumes.
