Cordero di Montezemolo

For 19 generations, in the centre of the production area of Barolo wine, is situated the Monfalletto estate.

In the heart of Langhe, just in the middle of the Barolo area, there is a cedar of Lebanon that, for 150 years dominates 30 hectares of vineyards. The Monfalletto estate belongs to the Fallettis since 1340, but nowadays the main characters are Giovanni Cordero di Montezemolo and his sons Elena and Alberto, that have made their business one of the greatest in the oenological scene.

The pride of the winery is the Barolo wine that include 3 cru: Barolo Monfalletto, Bricco Gattera e Enrico IV.

Alta Langa Autessa comes directly from the Langa hills and is obtained by selecting the best grapes from the vineyards. The production technique and style have evolved over the years, but maintain the desire to create a refined "bubble" suitable for the table at all times. After a slight passage in wood for the first fermentation, the wine is refermented in the bottle and here it remains to rest on the yeasts for an average period of 4 or 5 years.
