This amaro is a forgotten traditional product from Piedmont. It was created by a 19th century botanist Domenico Ulrich, who in 1854 established in Turin a company producing extracts, perfumes and essences. The Marolo distillery has decided to bring back a revised version of this great product.The amaro is made with 19 herbs, flowers and roots: the top note flavours are wormwood, gentian and aniseed. Marolo has therefore successfully renewed the tradition.

Amaro Gentile brings with it all the traditional flavored and digestive scents of our hills. Part of the herbs is macerated for twelve months in Aged Moscato Grappa and the remainder is infused in alcohol, together with orange and lemon zest. In Amaro Forte Mazzetti you distinctly perceive nuances of liquorice, dandelion, chincona bark and peppermint.
