Description

The Nebbiolo is the wine grape variety used to produce the Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero wines. It is grown only in the Langhe area and its name probably derives from the Italian word for fog, which connects it to the characteristic misty weather of the Langhe during the harvest. It is amber coloured and has a sharp and savoury flavour given by the oak barrel in which it ages.
