Barbera d'Asti DOCG is the queen of Piedmontese wines, moreover it has always been the most produced wine and the one that best represents the soul of these lands.There are specific testimonies dating back to about 200 years ago regarding the presence of the Barbera grape in the Asti area. This wine is characterized by a dark ruby ​​red color, which tends to garnet with aging, the nose is intense and complex, with fruity notes of cherry, blackberry and red fruits. Barbera d'Asti aged in wood may have notes of roasting and spices. In the mouth it is full-bodied, rightly tannic and persistent.
