Description

The Asti is produced from the same base grape, Moscato, maintaining the same varietal characteristics. Its significantly different method of production, however, (secondary fermentation in pressure tanks) produces a wine with an alcohol content of 7% vol. and a pressure on bottling of 5 atmospheres, qualifying it as a sparkling wine.
